In today’s digital-first world, online influence is as powerful as it gets. With Maktbarometern 2024, Datastory continues its mission of empowering organizations by providing data-driven insights that simplify complex issues. Maktbarometern 2024 is a tool designed to map the digital influence landscape in Sweden, highlighting the key players and trends across major social media platforms.
As a technical partner behind Maktbarometern 2024, Datastory was responsible for ensuring the project’s success from a technical standpoint. Our work involved the development of a custom admin panel designed to collect and analyze data from five major social media platforms—TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube. This admin panel allows for advanced data sorting, filtering, and searching, enabling the discovery of actionable insights.
We also provided data pipelines and data science solutions to integrate data from multiple sources, creating derived metrics and composite indices. While our main focus was on the backend, we also contributed insights for live presentations and a light frontend, ensuring the data was presented in an engaging and accessible way at key events.
Maktbarometern 2024 has made a big impact by providing valuable insights into digital influence. Here are some examples of how different organizations are using it:
